From 01 to 6 March 2021 Andorra is the host of the International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF) 2021 World Championships. The competition will be held in the Comapedrosa Nature Park and Arinsal ski sector is the operations centre.
The world championships consist of four events:
-The Sprint, which will be divided into heats
-The Relays, which will be a team competition
-The Downhill, which will be held on the resort's ski slopes
-The Individual, which will be held off-piste, on the last day of the championships.
This world renowned event is organized by the International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF) and the Andorran Mountaineering Federation (Federació Andorrana de Muntanyisme - FAM).
